Lazatin eyes rehab, accreditation of Day Care centers

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. is eyeing the repair and rehabilitation of Day Care centers here, as well as their accreditation.

He bared this during the induction and oathtaking ceremony of newly elected Day Care Workers officers yesterday at Angeles Fried Chicken in Barangay Balibago.

According to the Mayor, this is part of his programs for 2020.

It can be recalled that one of the major priorities of Mayor Lazatin is to provide better access to quality education.

He wants the proper usage of the Local School Board (LSB) fund without increasing Real Property Tax or Assessment.

For the Mayor, the use of the LSB should be maximized only for the purchase of additional land for schools, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and construction of buildings.

The new set officers are Alma Sinamban, President; Lydia Wales, Vice President; Jieverlyn Hernandez, Secretary; Josie De Ocera, Treasurer; Estrelinda Nocom, Auditor; Anna Marrie Torres, Marites Guevarra, Judith Calaunan, Rowena Elias, Raquel Evaristo, PROs; Rosana Maglaqui, Edna De Leon Lising, Dolores Guarino, Sgt. At Arms; and Business Managers Andrea San Miguel and Joena Antonio.
