HERMOSA, Bataan – The local government unit of Hermosa (LGU-Hermosa) is now an official collecting agent of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
This was confirmed by Hermosa Municipal Mayor Jopet R. Inton thru his municipal treasurer Rhodora Manalansan.
Starting today, August 1, 2017, the Municipality of Hermosa thru the Treasurer’s Office here will start accepting premium payment of PhilHealth members.
Manalansan said the municipality has passed the qualification requirements and criteria for accreditation as bonafide PhilHealth Collecting Agent for premium contributions.
With this, the PhilHealth Regional Office in Central Luzon has accredited LGU-Hermosa, thereby providing collection-remittance services for its Philhealth members/constituents of this municipality.
Payments of employed or individually paying members, indigent or Sponsored Program Members will be accepted here.
“Pwede na po magbayad ang lahat ng Philhealth members ng kanilang PhilHealth contributions sa Treasurer’s Office starting August 1, 2017. Di na po kailangan pumunta sa Balanga. Ito po ay patuloy na serbisyo ng ating lokal na pamahalaang bayan,” Manalansan said thru her Facebook account. – MHIKE CIGARAL
