Liping Banyuhay launches poetry fest

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – – Liping Banyuhay (Bago, Anyo, at Buhay) will be launching its spoken word poetry festival in Filipino on Friday August 30, 2019, 4 pm at the Patio Michelle here. 

The said activity runs on a theme: “Wikang Filipino at Kabataang Malaya:Sandigan sa Progresibong Bayan.” 

Liping Banyuhay is an advocacy group that aims to forward the Filipino language, arts, culture and history of the province of Bataan in various forms and fileds  the organization is composed of teachers, professionals, and students.

The launch will include the induction of officers of Liping Banyuhay, poetry and performances from various High School students from Dinalupihan, and members of the community followed by an open mic. 

The event, supported by Bataan Congresswoman Geraldine B. Roman, is a celebration of the Filipino language that moves from our collective commitment to the struggles of the country, to our experiences, and the spirited survival of the Filipino language despite having to endure much suffering.
