First termer Lubao mayor Esmie Pineda said she will be implementing more improved health care and education programs to constituents.
For education, magdaragdag rin po tayo ng national high schools” Pineda told the media on Tuesday.
Moreover, the mayor added clearing operations are on track following the 60-day deadline given by President Rodrigo Duterte.
We are planning to create a barangay ordinance and then sa Sangguniang Bayan para tuluy-tuloy po ang implementation.
On dengue issue, number of cases in this town remain stable. As of 3Q of 2019, cases in Lubao lowered at 123 from 253 in 2018. Continuous fogging is implemented in affected areas, Pineda said.
On tourism, the town is seen to become a fruit-picking destination in Central Luzon. This will be an addition to its main attractions, the Bamboo Hub, an ecological park in Sta. Catalina, the Pradera Verde, a laid-back resort with a golf course in Prado Siongco and the annual Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival.
