CLARK FREEPORT — The upcoming Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions Conference (M.I.C.E. Con 2024) has garnered significant support from key industry stakeholders in Clark Freeport.
Support for the event was formalized during a signing ceremony at Quest Plus Conference Center, Clark, featuring stakeholders from the hospitality industry including Mimosa Cityscapes Inc., Chroma Hospitality, Inc., and Filinvest Mimosa Inc.
CDC President and CEO Agnes VST Devanadera highlighted the significance of M.I.C.E. Con 2024 for Clark’s ongoing development initiatives.
“This M.I.C.E. Con is something that will signal the trend and the direction of what we all prepared for in the development of your city within the city,” she said.
She further noted that the conference aims to promote arts, culture, and history in Clark, ultimately providing a “soul” for the community.
“These are the things that we think we should find here. It is this kind of partnership, the inclusive growth, that can really make our community more vibrant,” Atty. Devanadera added.
The partnership underscores the shared vision between CDC and its stakeholders to position Clark as the country’s leading M.I.C.E. destination. As a conference partner, Quest Plus Conference Center Clark will provide accommodation and host a themed lunch for selected delegates of M.I.C.E Con on July 12, 2024.
Quest Plus Conference Center Clark’s General Manager Michael Gapin expressed enthusiasm about hosting the event, recognizing its potential to drive the M.I.C.E. sector forward.
“Our team, together with the support of Chroma Hospitality, Filinvest Mimosa, have gone through great lengths not only to meet but exceed expectations when it comes to meetings and conventions,” he said.
Gapin noted that this partnership is based on “shared values, mutual respect, and a common vision for the future,” making it more than just a business agreement.
The M.I.C.E.Con 2024 event, scheduled for July 10-12, aims to showcase Clark’s growth and potential as a hub for meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions. This year’s conference marks a significant return to Clark after a decade.
The support for M.I.C.E.Con 2024 extends beyond this partnership, with other stakeholders joining in, including Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, Royce Hotel and Casino, Stotsenberg Leisure Park and Hotel Corporation, Midori Hotel and Casino, and the Provincial Government of Pampanga.
Additional partners include Mabalacat City Government, Hann Resorts, Park Inn by Radisson Clark, and several others from both the private and public sectors, which will help bolster CDC’s efforts to make Clark the preferred M.I.C.E. destination in the Philippines.
