In time with the opening of classes, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) – Mabalacat Malasa has given out school bags, hygiene kits, grocery packs, and free meals to the residents of Barangay Mawaque here.
This is a joint project of JCI Mabalacat Malasa headed by its President Franz Senapilo in partnership with 2019 Central Luzon Regional Vice President Jenny Mejia- Gomez and 2021 Local Organization President Roy Leandro Reyes.
A total of 100 bags with school supplies and 350 food packages were donated. The distribution held Saturday was led by Malasa officers and members.
“This has become a yearly activity with Mabalacat Malasa Jaycees. We want to give back to our kabalens and this I believe is a more meaningful day to celebrate one’s natal day,” Gomez quipped.
Meanwhile, Senapilo, who is vying for 2023 Central Luzon Regional Vice Presidency, expressed his gratitude to past presidents Gomez and Reyes for tapping JCI Mabalacat in this community project, and to the sponsors for extending their support.
JCI Mabalacat Malasa is a non-profit organization joined by individuals ages 18 to 40 years old, honed to create sustainable impact to the community.
