Oliver Manarang of Mabalacat City College was shortlisted in the regional search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) making him qualify to the national tilt.
Manarang holds a degree on Secondary Education with a major in Filipino and is the former chief editor of The Equalizer, the official publication of MCC. Currently, he is a teacher at Holy Family Academy in Angeles City.
Manarang was joined by MCC President Dr. Carmelita P. Sotto in the awarding ceremony held at Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, Malolos, Bulacan, Monday.
TOSP is an award-giving body recognizing notable students in terms of academic performance, leadership and social responsibility.
