Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (MACCII) President Elizabeth Carlos-Timbol said “Franchise Pinas” is opening up business opportunities for young entrepreneurs who wish to open up businesses in the new normal setting.
Carlos-Timbol said she was surprised to see that small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) are posting positive growth after the debilitating COVID-19 pandemic. “This is exactly what we wanted. To generate businesses,” according to Carlos-Timbol, who is one of the figures who launched “Franchise Pinas” on Saturday morning at the SMX Clark.
Citing the need for collaboration with upcoming businesses, Carlos-Timbol said, “We are pushing for inclusivity in commerce or what she described as ‘Creating Investments & Business Opportunities for All.’”
Carlos-Timbol has invited business owners to join the MACCII noting that they are ready to give further business tutorials for upcoming entrepreneurs.
Some 20 food-related businesses and 20 non-food businesses have participated in “Franchise Pinas” in a bid to provide a platform for franchise owners and potential franchisees.
The two-day business matching and opportunity will showcase the best speakers in the franchising and banking industry. It is the first franchise expo in Central Luzon that will be held at SMX Clark from October 7 to 8.
Franchise Pinas is organized by Epic Events Production headed by Louie Alcantara. It is co-presented by Gcash, and sponsored by Beautederm, Converge, OrderMo and JDN Realty and supported by the Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
