ANGELES CITY – The Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (MACCII) will join the 23rd Recyclables Collection Event as part of their move to intensify their campaign for clean air.
MACCII will lead the said event on November 27, 8 am to 4 pm at Hilda Extension, Nepo Center here, in collaboration with the Environmental Practitioners Association (EPA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau III (DENR – EMB III), Angeles City Government, and Clark Development Corporation.
This event, also known as Collection and Disposal of Selected Hazardous Waste, is to raise people’s awareness about the importance of recycling to address the country’s waste problem.
Moreover, this move is also to inform various business establishments in the city on proper hazardous waste management.
This is also in accordance with Republic Act No. 8749, otherwise known as the Philippine Clean Air Act, which aims to achieve and maintain a healthy and comprehensive air quality management for Filipinos.
