Bataan Governor Abet Garcia on Wednesday afternoon led the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Get Philippines Inc. and the Provincial Government of Bataan.
Members of Bataan IATF, the local media, Pilar Mayor Charlie Pizarro and other concerned agencies like the Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) witnessed the event.
Under the said agreement, Get Phils. Inc. will provide the Bataan LGU with a comprehensive system using mobile software applications that can screen and monitor residents and visitors that will enter the borders and boundaries of the Province of Bataan.
The said system will become the first to be implemented in a LGU.
A “Get-Pass App” will be required to be installed in every smart mobile phones of Bataan residents, constituents, workers, commuters of public transport and visitors of designated buildings and business establishments within the Province.
The complete and comprehensive guidelines in this new system in Bataan border checkpoints will be published in the coming days by the Bataan LGU thru 1Bataan News social media pages, Gov. Abet Garcia’s social media accounts, and various multimedia national and local news outlets.
