MUSIC, art and style went into a merry fusion as Ayala Malls staged the MarQuee Mall leg of Style Origin 2016, the annual fashion extravaganza of the posh mall chain.
Style Origin, which is bannered this year by the theme MAS! – an acronym for music, arts and style – featured the performances of heartthrob singer-actor Matteo Guidicelli and popular indie band Up Dharma Down.
Style Origin 2016 continues with the Ayala Malls’ tradition of championing home-grown labels and well-known international brands. Featured at the MarQuee Mall fashion show are Aeropostale, Asics, Guess (including kids), Mango, Onitsuka Tiger, Penguin by Munsingwear, Speedo, Havaianas, Bratpack, Complex, Merrell, Payless ShoeSource, Samsonite, Skechers, Suki, The Travel Club and Vans.
Also highlighted were creations of Bayo, Collezione C2, Coreliz, Fudge Rock, Jellybean, PD & Co (Paper Dolls), The Rail, UnaRosa, Folded & Hung and Bench.
Celebrities Andrea Bautista, Raikko Mateo, Ryza Xenon, Michelle Dee, and skateboarder Miyagi Borja graced the Style Origin ramp at MarQuee Mall.
Style Origin 2016 is megged by model-turned-fashion director Robby Carmona, and is set to grace the stages of Ayala Malls across the country including TriNoma, Harbor Point, Market! Market!, Abreeza, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Solenad, Centrio and UP Town Center. –Photos by Arlyn Lukban
