The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) has announced that several students from the College of Information and Communications Technology have passed the CERTIPORT examinations, an international certification provided by S&A Learning Solutions.
The students are the first batch of NEUST students who passed the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) certification exams.

In a statement, NEUST said, “the students had been studying for months, and passed with flying colors, earning professional certifications that will give them a competitive edge in the IT job market.”
The IT certification exams, which are recognized globally, test the students’ knowledge and skills in various IT areas such as Database Management, HTML, Networking, and more. The students had to demonstrate their proficiency in their chosen IT specialization to pass the exams.
“We are extremely proud of our student’s achievements in passing their IT certification exams,” said Dr. Arnold Dela Cruz, the Dean of the College of Information and Communications Technology. “These certifications will open up many opportunities for our students in the IT industry and help them excel in their careers.”
The students have expressed their gratitude to NEUST for the support and resources it provided to help them prepare for the exams.
“I am thrilled to have passed my IT certification exam,” said Ronnie Miana, a senior at the College. “It was challenging, but with the help of our professors — Rosalie Sison ,Alexander Cochanco,Emilsa Bantug, and the training provided by S&A Learning Solutions I was able to pass with confidence. This certification will boost my career prospects in the IT industry.”

The College plans to continue offering IT certification training to its students and expand its programs to include more specialized areas in the future.
