Mabalacat City — Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales said the newly opened carriage road at the North Luzon Expressway will usher in more investors to this city.
Morales also thanked Manila North Tollways Corporation president Rodrigo Franco for providing the most number of interchanges in Mabalacat City, thus, making it more accessible to investors and tourists.
Some of the interchanges in Mabalacat City include Dau, Clark South and Clark North among others.
“This new interchange in Mabalacat City will make it more accessible to the potential investors and this could increase our city’s income,” Morales said.
Morales, along with MNTC president Franco, led the ceremonial drive thru at the NLEx Segment 3 Northbound Carriage on Friday.
The four-kilometer carriage lane worth P235 million includes the expansion of new northbound bridges at Balem and Quitangil.
The one-by-one lane at the NLEx Segment 3 had been widened to accommodate two lanes on both northbound and southbound directions in time for the surge of travelers during the Christmas holidays.
Mabalacat City Vice Mayor Christian Halili; former Vice Governor-turned-NLEx Warrior basketball coach Joseller “Yeng” Guiao; Mabalacat City councilors Rox Pena, Eddie Sotto and Dan Lacson; and Traffic Regulatory Board Executive Director Abraham Sales also joined the ceremonial drive thru.
