OFW Hospital and Diagnostic Center to rise in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go led Tuesday the groundbreaking of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Hospital and Diagnostic Center in the province of Pampanga.

The PhP500 million facility is located at the PEO Compound in Sindalan, City of San Fernando.

“The project, which is a partnership between the Provincial Government of Pampanga, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Health, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, and Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc., aims to respond to the medical needs of OFWs and their immediate families for free,” Go said.

It will be a 100-bed capacity hospital, equipped with dialysis and cancer centers, and targeted for completion in May 2021.
