Olongapo City – Olongapo city celebrates the 57th cityhood on Thursday June 1. City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. and city officials prepared a month long events to celebrate the 57th year since President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. signed Republic 4546 on June 1, 1966.
According to Mayor Paulino the calendar of activities are:
BANGKA-RERA – this heart-pumping action at the as teams compete in the traditional Bangka-rera boat race as participants race fiercely through the waves and battle it out for the ultimate prize on June 3, 2023, Saturday, 7am at Barretto Beach area.
BEACH HAPPY HOUR – Biggest Sunset Beach Party in Olongapo City! on June 3, 2023, Saturday, 5pm at Driftwood Beach, Brgy. Barretto.
With these following activities;
