Another detainee who bolted out the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) detention facility in Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando on Monday surrendered to authorities.
The inmate was identified as Erick dela Cruz of Malibay, Valenzuela.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) had earlier issued a shoot to kill order against the escapees.
Earlier, five of the 13 inmates who escaped from the detention facility surrendered to authorities. PDEA-3 Public Information Officer Glenn Guillermo identified the five inmates as Marlon Orezca and Jeric Castillo of Plaridel town; Russel Derick De Jesus of Guiguinto town; and Rommel Reyes and Renante Reyes of Baliwag, all from Bulacan province. All are facing drug charges.
Guillermo said PDEA-3 and PNP are still conducting manhunt operations for the seven other escapees identified as Edilberto Clemente of Tondo, Manila; Eduardo Gregorio, Jr. and Roberto Castillo of Plaridel town; Victor Briguel and Robert Salas of the City of San Jose Del Monte; and Yahya Malang of Tarlac City and Kiram Tambelawan of Bulacan.
