The Pampanga provincial government distributed more than ₱4 million in financial and burial assistance to residents during its regular Monday aid program led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda.
A total of 93 residents received financial assistance, while 54 others were granted burial aid, bringing the combined amount to over ₱4 million, according to the Provincial Information Office.
One of the beneficiaries, Norma Mallari, who is currently battling leukemia, expressed her gratitude for the support she received. She said the assistance has been a big help in addressing her medical needs.
Other beneficiaries also thanked the provincial government, citing the Capitol’s continued readiness to provide assistance to Kapampangans in times of need. PHOTOS DANIEL OMBINA
