P1.3M shabu seized in Bulacan

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Four drug peddlers were arrested and P1.3M worth of shabu was confiscated on Tuesday in a drug bust in  Bulacan.

Bulacan provincial police director Col. Lawrence Bonifacio Cajipe said elements of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan Intel/CDEU arrested  Dennis Perez, 36,  #33 Luwasan Sapang Palay Proper, CSJDM; Irene Torda, 31,  of B28 L13 Road 3, Minuyan 2, CSJDM; Ronald Buentipo, 47, Grab driver and  resident of B15 L3 PhE, Bgy. Mulawin, CSJDM; and David Martin, 30, mechanic and residing at Sitio Kaypalong, Bgy. San Vicente, Sta Maria,. after they sold a sachet of  shabu to the police poseur buyer.

Cajipe said the buy-bust on the four suspects at  Sitio Camandalaan, Bgy. Muzon, CSJDM resulted in the seizure of 14 more plastic sachets of  shabu worth at least P1,394,000, a P1,000 mark money, a digital weighing scale and a  sling bag while driving a Toyota Vios  with Plate No. NCY 2452 and motorcycle  plate No. CC25394 were impounded..

All the suspects will be charged with  violation of Art II, Sec 5 in Rel. to 26 and Sec. 11 of R.A. 9165

“Continuous proactive operations are being carried out as PRO3 invigorates its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug- free Central Luzon,” said PRO3 director Valeriano de Leon.
