The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated 465 ecstasy tablets worth P1.4 million during a buy-bust operation in Eastwood City on August 15, 2019.
PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino said the illegal drugs were seized from the suspect identified as Arnold Immanuel Rafanan Dy, 22 years old, and a financial manager, who was arrested at around 9:4am by joint elements of PDEA Special Enforcement Service (PDEA SES) under the supervision of the Officer-in-Charge, IAV Christy E. Silvan, and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) in Family Mart Global Tower 1, Eastwood City, Barangay Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
The suspect will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Illegal Drugs), and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
