Malacañang said on Thursday that essential work and religious gatherings will be allowed in local government units (LGU) under general community quarantine (GCQ) provided safety measures will be observed.
In a press briefing, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said the concerned public must abide with at least two meters physical distancing rule.
Individuals to attend mass gatherings must wear face masks, face shields and other facial protective equipment.
With this, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año asked religious leaders to ensure strict social distancing in all their activities.
Roque added that employees under GCQ must bring their company IDs and certificates of employment.
Areas under enhanced community quarantine until May 15 are National Capital Region, Central Luzon except Aurora, CALABARZON, Pangasinan, Benguet, Baguio City, Iloilo province, Iloilo City, Cebu province, Cebu City and Davao City.
