Pampanga Capitol worker who asked money from ROFs sacked

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda dismissed on Wednesday, July 7, a job order employee who fleeced money from some returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) under the “Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program.”

This was confirmed by Atty. Charlie Chua, provincial administrator.

According to Atty. Chua, the said employee was deployed in the transportation services of the program.

Chua.

However, the provincial administrator reiterated all the services under the “Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga Program” are free of charge.

Meanwhile, the employee admitted the accusation, and apologized to his victims.

“Manyad ku pung dispensa kekayu, kareta pung inyawaranan kung pera keta pung Balik Pinas, Balik Pampanga, pasensya na kayu pu, dacal pung dacal a salamat,” he said.

On his part, Governor Delta said he will not tolerate such unethical behavior in the provincial government.

“Mas lalo po nating babantayan ang ating mga empleyado para siguraduhin na hindi na ito maulit pa,” he said.
