Six notorious drug pushers were arrested by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat City Thursday night.

41, single, resident of Ilang Ilang St., Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Joanna Arcilla y Quilla, 43 y.o, Married, resident of 109 Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Lorna Bote y Magtoto, 59 y.o, Married, resident of Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Maristela Patio y Notaryo, 55, married, resident of Ilang Ilang St., Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Reynan Atienza y De Jesus 24, single, resident of Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; and Bryan Belo y Delos Santos, 39, single, resident of Brgy. Culis, Hermosa, Bataan.
Babang said the suspects were nabbed inside a “makeshift” which they used to barter their trade to prospective clients. They also use the place as a drug den in sniffing shabu.
He said the suspects did not resist arrest when accosted by his men after receiving the marked money from one of his agents who acted as poseur-buyer during the entrapment operation.
“We have been monitoring the group after receiving reports about their involvement in illegal drug trade in the said area,” Babang said.
Seized from the suspects were more or less 12 grams of methamphetamine hydrocloride or shabu placed inside four plastic sachets witn an estimated street value of Php82,800.00, drug parapharnalia and the marked money used in the operation.
The suspects are now detained at Mabalacat City jail after charges of illegal position of prohibited drugs were filed in court against them. / Rudy Abular
