It’s a grand celebration of Filipino storytelling through music as 10 original songs go head-to-head this Sunday (August 30) at 9:45 PM in the “Philippine Selection Night,” where the country’s official representative to the “Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026” will be chosen.
The live musical showdown, to be hosted by Vice Ganda, will be streaming for free on iWant. Viewers can also catch it live on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Onlive Live. The event will also be available worldwide through TFC and will have a delayed telecast on MYX.
Watch as the song performers bring the stories behind each song to life on the New Frontier Theater stage: P-pop group DNA for Jungee Marcelo’s composition, “Between Bituin;” “Tawag ng Tanghalan” alumnus SAGA for Angelo Gonzales’ “Broken Beyond Repair”; Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres, Lance Reblando, and Nar Cabico for Nar’s entry, “Cheri(e)”; Jason Dy and Sassa Dagdag for Jason Marvin Hernandez’s “Di Yan (Red Flag)”; and “Idol PH’s” alumna Ryssi Avila for Hazel Faith Santos’ “Good For You.”

The “Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026: Philippine Selection Night” winner will be determined by a combination of jury and public votes: 40% from the jury, 40% from viewers in the Philippines, and 20% from viewers worldwide.
The winner will become the Philippines’ representative to “Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026” in Bangkok, Thailand on November 14.
The inaugural Asian edition of the long-running international television music competition, organized by the European Broadcasting Union, brings the Eurovision format to a new audience in the region. It also offers Filipino artists a global platform to showcase the country’s rich storytelling and distinctive sound.
