Opposition Councilor and Mayoralty Aspirant Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has vowed to continue the legacy of his father, former Angeles City Mayor and First District Pampanga Congressman Carmelo “Tarzan” Lazatin by bringing back basic quality services.
In his visit to Barangay Capaya last January 16, he told residents he will focus on providing basic quality services to Angeleños, such as the improvement of barangay health centers by providing free medicines, free college tuition fee in City College of Angeles, the establishment of new road networks to address the growing traffic congestion in the city, and the creation of the city’s own landfill.
During the caucus, Lazatin also thanked the residents for extending their continued support to the Lazatins.
Joining Pogi Lazatin in the said caucus is his brother, First District Representative Carmelo “Jon Jon” Lazatin II who is currently running for a second term.
Pogi Lazatin said that having close ties between the mayor and the first district representative is beneficial to the city as it makes national projects more accessible.
