CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Forty police officers have been feted for their outstanding contribution to government service during the 27th Philippine National Police Founding celebration Monday.
The event also coincided with the distribution of cash assistance to the families of policemen who have died in the line of service.
Chief Supt. Elmer Bantog, deputy police director for administration (DPDA), Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3); Senior Supt Ronald Llanera, deputy regional director for operations (DRDO); Senior Supt. Rommil Mitra, chief directorial staff (CDS) and Senior Supt. Rolly Mendoza, chief of the regional headquarters and support group (RHSG) leads the awardees.
Governor Lilia Pineda, who was the guest of honor and speaker, lauded Central Luzon police for keeping the region the most peaceful area in the country.
“Maraming salamat sa kapulisan ng Central Luzon na pinangungunahan ni Chief Supt. Amador Corpus dahil pagpapanatiing maayos ang peace and order n gating rehiyon,” said Pineda shortly after the welcome honor.
Pineda and corpus distributes mobile vehicles to different police units including 3rd Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (3CIDG), PNP Aviation and Security Group, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT-Pampanga Provincial Police Office ) and Provincial Mobile Force.
The governor was accompanied by Davao first district Representative Karlo Alexie Nograles, who also joined the PNP Day celebration. She assured the police of her continuing support and assistance to the organization in the region.
Pineda led the inauguration of the newly-renovated PRO3 gymnasium and heroes monument.
Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda also graced the occasion.
