MONCADA, Tarlac (PIA) — The Provincial Government of Tarlac, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Moncada, distributed around 1,300 packs of rice to qualified beneficiaries under the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Funded through the Local Government Support Fund, the initiative aims to help ease the expenses of vulnerable households.
Tarlac Vice Governor Estelita Aquino said the rice distribution was carried out through coordination between the provincial and local government.
“Ang programang ito ay naisakaturapan sa kabutihan ng ating pambansang pamahalaan, na sinisiguro na ang bawat pamilyang Filipino ay makikinabang (This program was made possible through the efforts of our national government, which ensures that every Filipino family will benefit),” she added.
During the distribution, each qualified beneficiary received 10 kilograms of rice.
The assistance forms part of the government’s continuing efforts to bring support closer to Filipino communities and help address the basic needs of vulnerable households. (CLJD/AJRR, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
