Security Bank Foundation aids typhoon-damaged School in Tarlac

TARLAC – Security Bank Foundation replaced the school chairs, tables and electric fans of the Voice of Truth Foundational Learning Center in Camiling, Tarlac that were damaged by the flooding caused by typhoons that hit Northern and Central Luzon. The Foundation also distributed bags filled with brand new school supplies to the 75 students of the beneficiary school.

The turnover ceremony was graced by the presence of Patricia Capwell, National Director of Institute for Foundational Learning, the organization running the beneficiary school, and Melissa Aquino, Trustee of Security Bank Foundation. Also present to witness the turnover were Security Bank Business Managers Roselyn Arato of Tarlac Branch and Angelica Liwanag of Tarlac-Tañedo Branch.

Through a presentation, the students expressed their gratitude and joy after receiving brand new school supplies and furniture, which will enable them to comfortably continue their classes free from worry about damaged classrooms or incomplete resources.

“Security Bank Foundation is a big help and a great blessing to all – providing a project that uplifts and gives hope to people who are devastated by unexpected calamities. It is our prayer that this project of assisting calamity-affected schools will continue,” said Veronica Zacarias, Principal of the Voice of Truth Foundational Learning Center.

The Foundation’s assistance to calamity-affected schools reaffirms its commitment to uplift the quality of life in communities that Security Bank serves.
