SGMA, Guv visit quake victims

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO-  House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo joined Gov. Lilia Pineda to personally give their condolences to the victims who died from the tremor of the 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Porac and Lubao town recently. 

The House Speaker and the lady Governor with Porac Vice Mayor Dexter David, Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon, Lubao Mayoral candidate Esme Pineda and Senatorial Candidate Dado Padilla personally handed over bereavement assistances to 56-year-old woman and her six year old granddaughter Doris Paule and Niella Denise Paule; Adrian Charles Ocampo; Sophia Janes Arbis; Jovilyn Vera; Manilyn Dela Cruz and her children Jacob and Hailee; and Gerome Kyle Enriquez in Lubao and Porac town respectively. 

The lady leaders also pledged to coordinate with the families to cover all burial expenses of the victims who died in the earthquake.

This is one of the priorities, Gov. Pineda added, also rebuilding houses for the affected families and shouldering assistances for the bereaved family. 

Meanwhile, they also inspected the collapsed building of Chuzon Supermarket and asked the frontlines there about updates of the situation.

According to SGMA, workers from the supermarket will be assisted from Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
