Shaker rocks Pampanga, Luzon

A strong earthquake struck Luzon, including Pampanga, on Friday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
PHIVOLCS recorded the magnitude of the earthquake to 6.3 off Luzon. Magalang, Pampanga experienced a magnitude 2.

The epicenter was located in Lian, Batangas. The earthquake, which occurred at 1:28 p.m., had a depth of 160 kilometers.

The quake was felt at Intensity 4 in Manila and Subic, Zambales, among others, while intensity 3 was felt in Malolos, Bulacan.

There were no reports of deaths or injuries.
The US Geological Survey initially recorded the earthquake with a magnitude 6.6 but downgraded it to 6.2
