SM Employees volunteer for Brigada Eskwela ’18

With the strengthening partnership of SM Supermalls and the Department of Education, SM City Pampanga and SM City San Fernando Downtown employees volunteered on the recent Brigada Eskwela as part of SM Employees Volunteerism Program to make the student’s going back to school always a great experience. Adopted schools are Sapalibutad Elementary School in Angeles City and Baliti Integrated School in the City of San Fernando, respectively.

Brigada Eskwela is an annual school maintenance activity led by the Department of Education with its mission to provide safe and clean learning spaces for the students. Simultaneously across all SM mal in the Philippines, employees of SM volunteered from security personnel, janitorial staff and mall administration all rolled up their sleeves for some serious school clean up drive to prepare for the upcoming school year. Other than general campus grounds cleanup, the volunteers fixed damaged electrical wirings, repainted ceilings, walls, and replaced restroom fixtures.
