CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Retail giant SM supermalls formally launched on Sunday its Disney-themed Christmas with the ceremonial lightning of 25-feet tall Christmas tree signalling the start of the holiday season.
Rain Cervantes, of SM-Pampanga public relations department, said SM-Pamp chose Mickey Mouse as its icon for this year Christmas celebration.
“We were granted by Walt Disney to use its cartoon character icons during for the Christmas season,” Cervantes told reporters.
SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President for Operations – Central Luzon Engineer Jonas Eusebio encouraged shoppers to share the fun “as we fill our halls with joyful sounds for our pop Christmas carols and holiday brass symphonies.”
“Share the cheer with a myriad of holiday gift ideas and yuletide presents for kids of all ages and feast over a selection of holiday treats in our bazaars and savor sumptuous dishes from wide array of restaurants,” said Eusebio during the SM City-Clark Christmas grand launch with the theme of “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure Castle”
Here as SM, Eusebio said the season of giving and sharing is brighter than ever.
“Share the love and the joy of giving with our SM Bears of Joy, our yearly campaign that seeks to make more children happy this Christmas. For only 200, you can have one bear to keep while the other one would be donated to our chosen charity,” said Esusebio.
