SM marks Pulilan’s festival with pyromusical tilt, Mandala Art Festival

Five of Bulacan’s most renowned pyrotechnic artists dazzled the province with ​a ​spectacular and never-before-seen fireworks exhibition during SM Center Pulilan’s first pyro musical competition.

Held recently at the mall’s open car park, the event drew over 10,000 onlookers as the mall transformed the skyline into an outdoor audiovisual feast.

“The competing teams really showed what Bulacan and its people are known for​,​” shared SM Center Pulilan Assistant Mall Manager Apple G. De Leon. “As the pyrotechnic capital of the country, we are privilege that we are able to showcase Bulakeño’s ingenuity through this event​,​” ​she added.

An amazing festival of fireworks and music at SM marks the start of Pulilan’s Kneeling Carabao Festival. The festival, held at the SM Center Pulilan, attracted more than 10,000 crowd.

Competing teams from 5 different municipalities in Bulacan showed their artistry and skills with their 10-20 minute entries as they battled for “sky supremacy”. Crowd were mesmerized with the grandest, breathtaking display of sky colors harmonized with electrifying and rhythmical music.

Pyro Kreation Fireworks from Sta. Maria reigned supreme, while SR Castillo Fireworks from Bocaue took the 2nd place and Baliwag’s Nightlights to 3rd place, respectively.

The competition was also joined by Starmines Fireworks from Pandi and Infinity Fireworks from San Ildefonso.

Pulilan Fireworks Spectacle is one of the many exciting activities in celebration of Pulilan’s Kneeling Carabao Festival. Apart from fireworks competition, SM Center Pulilan also recently launched the “Mandala Art” Festival at the mall center atrium where artistic skills and traditions of Central Luzon were celebrated.

Mall goers had the rare glimpse of the artworks of the Top Visual Artists of Central Luzon. With a theme “Lupang Pamana”, students had the opportunity to discover Philippines’ vibrant art scene as top artists talk about art appreciation. Invited guest speakers were Luis “Junyee” Yee Jr. for installation art, Rai Cruz for the public mural, and EXLD for the graffiti and street art.
