BCDA sets pre-bid conference for Clark airport O&M

State-owned Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), in cooperation with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on May 21, 2018 for the Selection of Partner for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the Clark International Airport (CIA).

The Pre-Bid Conference scheduled at 9 a.m. will be held at The Mind Museum Auditorium, JY Campos Park, 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Registration starts at 8 a.m.

The Bidding Documents may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of One Million Pesos (Php1,000,000.00) at the BCDA Head Office. Interested parties may coordinate with the project’s Special Bids and Awards Committee Secretariat at Telephone No. (+632) 575-1746.

The Clark International Airport, which is envisioned to be the next major gateway in the country, is the first hybrid infrastructure project under the Duterte administration. For this, BCDA intends to partner with a world-class international airport operator for the O&M.

Upon award, the O&M Concessionaire will immediately take over the management and operations of the existing CIA Passenger Terminal and the New Terminal Building upon its completion and successful commissioning.

Procurement of the O&M Concessionaire will follow a competitive bid in accordance with the BUILD-OPERATE-TRANSFER (BOT) law.

The International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, serves as BCDA’s technical advisor for the project.
