TARLAC CITY — Provincial Government of Tarlac distributed a total of 3,000 protective suits and 3,303 personal protective equipment (PPE) to various government hospitals and local government units under its jurisdiction.
Governor Susan Yap stressed that the PPE sets will protect the medical frontliners in the province as they contain and combat the spread of coronavirus disease.
“This will protect our medical frontliners from the deadly virus. We only have a few medical staffers and we cannot afford them to get infected,” she furthered.
Recipients include Tarlac Provincial Hospital with 1,622 bunny suits and 1,795 PPEs; Gilberto O. Teodoro Memorial Hospital with 312 bunny suits; Concepcion District Hospital with 453 bunny suits and 120 PPEs; La Paz Medicare and Community Hospital with 115 bunny suits and 30 PPEs; Cong. Henry M. Cojuangco Memorial District Hospital with 100 bunny suits and 100 PPEs; and Provincial Epidemiology Surveillance Unit with 1,258 PPEs.
Bunny suits were likewise distributed to the city and municipalities wherein San Manuel, Mayantoc and San Clemente received 10 each; Bamban, Capas and Anao towns with 50 each; Concepcion with 65; Moncada with 21; Gerona with 12; Camiling with 15; Sta. Ignacia with 6; and Tarlac City with 100.
