Dinalupihan Mayor Maria Angela “Gila” Garcia on Tuesday led the launching ceremony of the Balikatan sa Bataan (Project BB) under the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC).
Mayor Garcia was joined by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region 3 Director Balmyrson Valdez and chiefs of various national and local government agencies.
TESDA-led PRLEC promotes new strategies that ensure better services for communities, as part of the State’s efforts to further promote sustainable and inclusive growth specially in the provinces.
A total of 57 indigenous people belonging to an Aeta tribe from Barangay Bayan Bayanan in Dinalupihan, Bataan will be the initial beneficiaries of TESDA skills training programs of the said project namely Plant Crops, Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts, Raise Organic Chicken and Bread and Pastry.
