Trade Fair opens for National MSME Week celebration

The National MSME Week Trade Fair 2025 opened to the public this Wednesday, July 9, at the Promenade Area of ​​Harbor Point Ayala Malls in the Subic Bay Freeport zone. SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– The National MSME Week Trade Fair 2025 was formally opened on Wednesday, July 9, at the Promenade Area of ​​Harbor Point Ayala Mall, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The said activity was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zambales together with members and exhibitors from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council (MSMEDC) to showcase products created in Zambales province and Olongapo City.

It was opened with a program and ceremonial ribbon cutting attended by several guests.

This was followed by a “Kapihan” press briefing where the DTI gave a report on the ongoing projects.

DTI Senior Trade Development Officer Cynthia Jaravata learned that from January to June of this year, similar trade fairs have already earned P1,454,190.00.

One Town, One Product (OTOP) hubs throughout the province earned P760,010.00 while the revenue generated from Pasalubong Centers was also highlighted, reaching P2,453, 267.00.

OTOP is a priority stimulus program for MSMEs to grow the economy of local communities while Pasalubong Centers serve as retail outlets established to display and sell products created by local MSMEs.
