A newspaper report said under President Duterte’s administration, the country can easily achieve an average of 6.5 to 7 percent growth rate in the next six years if what was promised will be done.
Of course everyone is expecting the trumpeted change will do some wonders in the coming years. Duterte’s credibility among the people is riding high. And the newly minted president is known for walking the talk.
Now let’s talk firstly about traffic that makes urban areas all over the country almost paralyzed. Whenever there are traffic jams in our roads whom can we point the finger of blame? At the motorists, at the agencies of the government like the Land Transportation Office, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol or where our finger pointing will direct us?
I have a solution to all the traffic jams and it is so easy to demolish all these gridlocks . As it is often said, you don’t have to re-invent the wheel. Ingenuity is not even necessary. So simple. In six months, motorists, passengers and government officials will enjoy the relief. In six months. Yes, while the Department of Public Works and Highways and other Private Public Partnerships are still being rolled out.
