Dr. Irineo "Bong" Alvaro, Jr., chairman of Bridges for Benevolent Initiatives Foundation (BBIF) is designated as Philippine National Coordinator by World Medical Relief, Inc. President and CEO George V. Samson. Alvaro, known for his corporate social responsibility programs at Clark-based BBIF such as scholarship and medical outreach programs, is shown getting a WMRI commemorative pin from Samson during the 64th Anniversary of the Charity NGO in Michigan, USA. He also cited the naming of one wing of said hospital after WMRI founder Irene Auberlin.

Eagle is the brain behind the recycling of used pacemakers that could help save lives of thousands of heart patients all over the globe thru distribution by WMRI. Franco, a retired cardiologist and surgeon in the US has devoted time to helping sick and needy persons in the Philippines.
