The Department of Agriculture (DA) recognized young farmer Nicole Viloria of Barangay Pamatawan, Subic, as a provincial awardee of the Young Farmers Challenge 2025 for her digital farming initiative.
Viloria earned the recognition for goSAKA (Solution for Agriculture, Knowledge and Access), a digital platform designed to help farmers improve farm management and market access. Subic Municipal Agriculturist Lucy Victorio said the platform enables market linking, community building, online learning, and the digital recording of farm operations and financial statements.
As a provincial awardee, Viloria received a certificate of recognition and P80,000 in financial assistance to support the initial rollout of her agribusiness project.
The Young Farmers Challenge is a DA program that supports young innovators with viable agribusiness ideas through funding and technical assistance.
