BATAAN – Five persons were arrested in a buy-bust operations conducted by combined forces of Philippine Drug Enforcemenrt Agency (PDEA), Bataan Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Capt. Phoe Pangan and Hermosa PNP in Barangay Cataning, Hermosa, Bataan, Monday night.
In a report from Police Major Jeffrey Onde, Hermosa Police chief, the arrested suspects were identified as: Gil Mallari, 52; Rosario Lingad, 57, both residents of Purok 6 of the said village; Edmar Yusi, 35, resident of Tugatog, Orani, Bataan; Hendrix Tallorin, 49 of Parang Parang, Orani, Bataan; and Melvin Lopez, 34, resident of Bayan extension, Orani, Bataan.
Confiscated from them were more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P57,000 (as per PDEA estimate) packed in separate small and medium heat sealed plastic sachets, P500 marked money and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects and evidence recovered were turned-over to PDEA Bataan for filing of criminal charges (Violations of Section 26 paragraph B, Sections 6,7,11,and Section 12 Article 2 pf the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) and proper disposition.
