5 stolen vehicles recovered

Subic Bay Freeport – The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), have recovered five stolen rental vehicles inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Authorities recovered on Wednesday,March 8, five commuter vehicles — two Toyota Grandia Vans, a Toyota Commuter Van, two Montero SUVs and a Toyota Fortuner. The stolen vehicles were all found in the yard of Ichiban.

A certain Roldan Bernardo allegedly rented the vehicles and did not return them to their owners since December.

“We assure the public the SBMA will not let up until the perpetrators are dealt with accordingly. The SBMA will not allow the Freeport to become a haven of any form of criminality,” according to SBMA Administrator Wilma T. Eisma . — Dante M. Salvana
