5,000 BCBP delegates celebrate 38th anniversary

The Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) will celebrate its 38th anniversary at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center where more than 5,000 delegates all over the country will flock on April 27-28.

The 2-day event starts on Friday morning with the general assembly, registration and worship highlighted by sharing of experiences from different representatives from various provinces and regions chapters in Naga City, Los Banos, Cebu, Alabang and the host province of Olongapo City in Zambales.

Some representatives from BCBP chapters in the United States of America , Canada and Singapore will also join the event.

On Saturday, there will be a Eucharistic Celebration in the afternoon with BCBP Founder and Spiritual Director Fr. Herb Schneider and other celebrators Fr. Keneth Masong and Fr.Michael Sitaram followed by a fellowship and thanksgiving headed by BCBP national president Joffe Almoro.

The intercessory and music ministry will be represented by the Bulacan Central Chapter.

The BCBP is a Catholic charismatic community movement that started in July 1980 with only 24 men members conducted weekly Saturday breakfast that signaled the start of the first Life in the Spirit Seminar, the forerunner of the present Brotherhood Christian Life Program (BCLP).The initial breakfast flourished with more and more businessmen and professionals attending.

The BCBP has more than 80 full chapters and almost 50 outreaches and several missions.

It is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization and fully recognized by the Archdiocese of Manila and in all the Dioceses where it operates nationwide. –ELOISA SILVERIO
