City of San Fernando – The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested nine persons and illegal drugs were confiscated during series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted in Pampanga.
On Wednesday morning, the Mabalacat City Police arrested four persons in Brgy. Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City after they yielded 13heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with DDB value of Php.5,000.00, illegal drugs paraphernalia and marked money.
The police identified the four as as Nelson Tolentino alias “Sapad”, 36; Noel Ramos, 47; Francis Pangan, 31; and Melvie Ann Abrugar, 21; all residents of Mawaque Resettlement Center, Brgy. Sapang Biabas, in Mabalacat City.
In the City of San Fernando, joint operatives of Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Branch and Pampanga Provincial Public Safety Company conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Del Pilar, which resulted to the arrest of three suspected drug dealers identified as Ferdinand Silerio alias “Bungoy”, 38; Bonifacio Galang, 56; and Jimmy Pineda, 39.
Confiscated from the three were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one cellular phone, one magazine loaded with six ammunition for caliber .380, six aluminum foil strips containing suspected shabu residue and the marked money.
Another resident in Purok 4, Brgy. San Jose, City of San Fernando, identified as Roger Manlulu, 47, alias “Bangus” was also arrested during a buy-bust operation. Seized from Manlulu were 32 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with street value of P20,000.00 and the marked money.
In Barangay Pandacaqui, Mexico, the police arrested George Hidalgo, 44, after he yielded 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing scale, improvised tooter and lighter.
PRO3 Regional Director PCSupt Aaron Aquino has lauded the PNP operatives saying the PNP PRO3 will continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs in the region.
