1,648 COMMUNITY WORKERS RECEIVE AID IN PAMPANGA ASSEMBLY
SANTA RITA, Pampanga – A total of 1,648 beneficiaries from Pampanga’s 2nd District, including about 135 residents of Santa Rita, received financial assistance during the Nanay Community Workers General Assembly and Payout held Wednesday at the newly opened Santa Rita Public Auditorium.
The assistance program was led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, joined by 2nd District Board Members Fritzie D. Dizon and Atty. Claire D. Lim, PCL Pampanga President Maynard Lapid, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Fe Manarang, Santa Rita Mayor Reynan S. Calo, Vice Mayor Ferdinand Salalila, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, barangay officials, and representatives of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
The Provincial Government of Pampanga said the program forms part of its continuing assistance for community workers across the province.
The event also served as one of the first major public activities at the Santa Rita Public Auditorium, giving residents an early look at the newly completed provincial facility following its recent inspection by Governor Pineda and provincial officials.
