CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan – Police anti-narcotics operatives busted five alleged suppliers of shabu, two of them women, and arrested two others in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations in Barangays Sta. Cruz, San Pedro and Gumaok West here Monday.
In a report to Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., SJDM City police chief Supt. Fitz Macariola identified the arrested drug dealers as Rebecca Lozada, 43,single, jobless; Luchie Reyes, 33, both residents of Bgy. Sta. Cruz; Marcelo Co, 42, single;Christopher Aquino, 29, single, both of Bgy. San Pedro and Jay-ar Sayco, 27, single, resident of Bgy. Gumaok West.
The other suspects who were arrested during pot sessions were Paul Jesus Magno, 27, resident of Bgy. Sta. Cruz and Virgilio Cruzm 39, resident of Bgy. Sta. Cruz.
According to Macariola, the first to fall were the drug pushing female duo of Lozada and Reyes who were arrested after selling a sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent. Police recovered seven more plastic sachets containing shabu from the two.
In Bgy. San Pedro, police operatives arrested Co and Aquino after selling shabu to a police poseur buyer. Police recovered seven more plastic sachets containing shabu from the suspects.
Macariola also reported the arrest of Sayco during a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Gumaok west. Macariola tried to sell an estimated two grams of shabu to a police undercover agent.
Charges are being readied against the suspects for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law. —EMIL G. GAMOS
