CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Pampanga will host the Cacao Link Luzon Congress at Kingsborough International Convention Center on November 16-17.
“Anchored on the theme Cacao is Gold, the congress is a gathering of cacao industry stakeholders aiming to establish stronger linkages for sustainable and inclusive growth of the cacao industry in Luzon,” the Cacao Region III Council said in a statement.
Topics to be discussed include production agronomy, nursery establishment, post-harvest processing, seed preparation and plant propagation, basic soil analysis, pod breaking, fermentation and bean grading, and chocolate-making and tasting.
The Cacao Region III Council is chaired by Kapampangan Development Foundation, Inc. and co-chaired by Department of Trade and Industry.
Members include Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Department of Agriculture, Alyansa Agrikultura, Philippine Information Agency, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Education, and Commission on Higher Education. (CLJD/CJFV-PIA 3)Carmela Jane F. Villar
