BATAAN CAPITOL – Bataan Governor Abet S. Garcia on Monday led the inspection of the 7-story “The Bunker.”
The building is the site of the country’s first one-stop shop connecting all the local government units and national agencies all in one location.
Gov. Garcia inspected each floor from the ground floor up to the rooftop and went to the basement and parking area. He was briefed by a representative and an engineer from the project contractor.
The provincial government’s modernization on business permit processing etc.will be located here and will be called the Bataan Government Center and Business Hub being presently constructed at the Bataan Capitol as part of the rehabilitation of the iconic building.
The compound will also house business process outsourcing centers, restaurants hotels and other business establishments.
Provincial Engineer Ric Yuzon, Bataan MIS-PIO chief Geoff Loyola, Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Albert Venturina, Helen Escudero, the governor’s secretary and local newsmen joined the building’s engineers in the inspection.
“We expect this to be finished this March and possibly we can transfer here on June next year,” Yuzon told the governor.
