Bataan leaders join Duterte’s ruling party

QUEZON CITY – The 1Bataan party of the Province of Bataan recently joined the fold of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s “coalition for change” and embraced PDP Laban’s “advocacy in promoting good governance for the welfare of every Filipino.”


The Speaker of the House of Representatives and Secretary General of PDP Laban, Pantaleon “Bebot” Alvarez led the oath taking of Bataan 2nd District Representative Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III, 10 Bataan mayors namely Samal Mayor Gene Dela Fuente, Gila Garcia of Dinalupihan, Gab Del Rosario of Bagac, Jopet Inton of Hermosa, Liberato Santiago Jr. of Abucay, Atty. Ace Jello Concepcion of Mariveles, Alice Pizarro of Pilar, Francis Anthony Garcia of Balanga City, Dr. Cynthia Estanislao of Morong, Antonio Raymundo Jr. of Orion and Bataan Vice Governor Ma. Cristina Garcia.

Orani Mayor Efren Pascual Jr. was said to be in an official business meeting during the event.

Bataan First District Representative Geraldine B. Roman and Majority Floor Leader Rodolfo Fariñas served as the witnesses.

“…we must push harder for genuine reforms. The Filipino people are waiting for us to fulfill our promises,” Energy Secretary and PDP Laban Vice Chair Alfonso Cusi.

“Truly, 1Bataan for 1Laban para sa Pilipinas,” Mayor Dela Fuente said on her Facebook Page.
