MALOLOS CITY — About 150 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bulacan attended the first Small and Medium Enterprise Roving Academy (SMERA) Training Session in the province for 2018.
“Attendees learned from entrepreneurship guru and JAD Group of Companies Chair Francisco Bernardo III how to turn crisis into opportunities wherein he cited how manufacturers of health products capitalized SARS and Swine Flu,” Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Director Zorina Aldana said.
“Bernardo also encouraged the participants to seek for solutions to social irritants and come up with innovative products that will provide a win-win solution for the maker and the consumer,” Aldana added.
DTI Bulacan targets 60 SMERA sessions this year focusing on financial management, marketing, accounting and other business aspects.
