BALER, Aurora — The municipal government of Dingalan recently conducted an information drive to about 700 parents of Dengvaxia recipients.
The activity was conducted by a Task Force composed of the Department of Education, Municipal Health Office, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
“The information drive focused on what should be done if the parents see the symptoms on their vaccinated children,” Municipal Health Officer Lani Cevedo said.
For his part, Mayor Shierwin Taay stressed the need to keep their surroundings clean and called for everyone’s contribution in eliminating the breeding sites of mosquitoes.
Taay also pledged to provide psychosocial support to parents and children traumatized by the situation. (CLJD/JSL-PIA 3)
